Hello everyone!

The monthly mission update that I've had planned for a few months now, was something that I was going to wait until the next mission to do, however people have had questions as of late regarding our current mission so I think it might be a good time to start this. With the amount of players that we currently have on Endeavour, it's incredibly important that everyone is on the same page and aware of what's going on. This will be the primary goal of the mission update. I will also be making mention of any additional things that you guys should know about. As with anything that is done here, if anyone has any suggestions or ideas for things that could be added or changed to this, just let me know.

Month of May

Last month was another good month for us. We sent out a total of nine posts. Good job everyone! We've been pretty consistent with the number of posts we've been dishing out in the last three months and I hope that we'll be able to keep it going. I know that there are a number of posts being worked on right now. I have seven in my control panel. As always, please get to your tags as promptly as possible and if you're having trouble writing, then please talk to either me, Karen or your department head to try and get some help. We can't help you if you don't tell us you need it!

The only major piece of news, which most of you know already, is that Doc (who plays Tara) will be leaving us upon the conclusion of the mission. A farewell post for the character is being worked on currently as per Doc's request.

The Mission

Here's what you need to know going into this next month where I hope (HOPE, HOPE) that we'll finally be able to finish our mission.

The away team comprised of Captain Pearson, Commander Sherebrook, Ensign Bridger, Tara, 2nd Lieutenant Ishay and a handful of MACOs returned to Endeavour via Shuttlepod One. The Shuttlepod docked with the airlock on A Deck as we have an Arboreal ship docked in one docking port on E Deck, and a Xindi shuttle docked to the other one. The Launch Bay is currently inaccessible because of the atmosphere change. Right now, D to F Decks have undergone the change in atmosphere to ammonium sulfide. The bridge was retaken by Major Walker, Ensign Solok, Corporal Fisher and some others. Other than the Sphere Builder on D Deck, all of the Xindi on the ship should be dead. So all that's left for us to do now is to deal with the Sphere Builder.

Site Things

I've re-added a chat box to the site as well. If you're logged in, you should see a CBOX link on our main menu. People may not be there all the time but please stop in to say hello if you have the chance. Would be a good place to talk about all things Trek or even planning out some posts. I know that I've been finding it useful as I've talked with Matt (Ens. Tanet) about our future missions.

Where are those achievements? I will be honest and say that I'm struggling in getting them done right now. I just have alot on my plate and just need a little lull to give me time to work on them. I think the majority of the achievements themselves are done, I just need to put together the graphics for them. So, I apologize that it's taking so long but as I tend to rely on myself to get these things done to the standards I want them to be, then it'll take time.

Probably the last thing that I want to mention is that I'm thinking of asking a couple of people to be part of a type of 'mission' committee. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not perfect. Not everyone is going to like the missions that I come up with. However, after my talk with Matt the other day I did find that it might be a good idea for me to get the input of other people in order to help make better missions. I don't know who I'll ask yet and I'm still thinking about this.. so we'll see what happens.

I think that's all I want to touch on. Thanks to everyone who responded to the role call. Please continue to get to your tags as promptly as possible. And please write, write, write. We're all here to write and I love seeing you guys do some posting. I do read them all even if it takes me a long time. I hate time! We should be able to stop it every now and then. LOL.
