Mission Update (June 2016)

Posted on Sun Jul 3, 2016 @ 12:39pm by Captain Edward Pearson

Hello everyone!

Sorry about the confusion with the title. I changed last month's from June to May.. so this one is June. Makes the most sense to me as we are reflecting back on what happened in the last month.

Month of June

June was a slow month for us! Nooooooooooooo! We only got five posts out. It's still good. I mean, I'm glad we did get some done. We had a bit of a tough spell with a couple of people holding things up. Please remember that if you need to be away for any prolonged length of time that you need to let me or Karen (Sherebrook) know. Not only is it extremely courteous to do so, but we also really appreciate it! There are like one or two posts that are currently being worked on that will finish off this mission. I expect we're going to be done with Episode #4 this month. So please, get to your TAGs and finish off any outstanding posts this month. I want a good showing. With the amount of stuff being worked on and waiting to go out it's very likely that July will be good!

The Mission

While a small group of armory officers and MACOs cleared the bridge of the deceased Xindi-Reptilians and Starfleet crew, Shuttlepod One returned to Endeavour. Commander Sherebrook was offloaded first due to her injuries and she was put in the care of Doctor Rigby. When Captain Pearson boarded the ship, Lieutenant JG Taylor updated him on the current situation involving the Xindi and the Sphere Builder on D Deck. Hoping to stop the Builder, Pearson had Lieutenant Long vent out the ammonium sulfide atmosphere from that deck and that proved effective although they couldn’t predict what happened next. The Sphere Builder, wanting to destroy Endeavour, started to disrupt the power throughout the ship. It didn’t last long though. When the atmosphere was fully vented, the disruptions ceased. Wanting to confirm whether or not he was dead, Captain Pearson along with Lieutenant Ishay and Ensign Bridger headed down to D Deck to confirm his fate.

Site Things

Nothing much to report on with regards to the website. I'd like to see more people make use of the chat (CBOX) even if it's just to say hello. There are a couple of things that I might work on in the future. One being a map to track the progress we've made thus far and where we've traveled. The other thing I was thinking about doing is maybe putting up a facebook page.. but we'll see. I always fear going full out public with these things because I don't want to be criticized by people who don't really give us a chance. Achievements are still being worked on and I should be making more progress on that this month. I'm reducing my work load by leaving three sims (this includes one of the ships I command) so I'm going to have more time to devote to all the extra stuff that needs to be done.

That's about it for this month. You guys are awesome and I can't wait to jump in to the next mission. I've had some great feedback from a couple of people already about what we have planned. Work hard this month. Let's get 'Even A God Bleeds' done.
