Happy Birthday To Endeavour!

Posted on Wed Nov 16, 2016 @ 10:49pm by Captain Edward Pearson

I can't believe that I almost forgot about this! I'm so glad that I didn't. Today is Endeavour's 3rd birthday! Three years ago today, this little ship was approved by the Task Force 99 CO and I am so proud to say that we haven't looked back since.

Some of you might be surprised to know that Endeavour wasn't actually my first foray into the Enterprise-era. Years before I attempted to run one of the other NX-class starships, Discovery. It was an independent sim and sadly things didn't really go too well because of that. I had a hard time keeping members. That experience, however, led me to creating Endeavour and having it be a part of Bravo Fleet. I REALLY wanted to try running an Enterprise-era sim again. It is my favourite era in all of Trek (understandably as I'm a major fan of Star Trek Enterprise).

Anyhow.. it's been a long road, getting from there to here (sorry for that :P)... I'm really pleased that we've made it this far. We have a great group of writers and I hope that all of you will still be here in another three years if not longer. I certainly plan on keeping this place running for as long as I am able to. I don't know about you guys but I want to see the end of the Romulan War and the Birth of the Federation. We're only halfway through season one though and have a long way to go.

Thank you to everyone who is playing here. I love reading your posts and am super glad that we're all sharing in this adventure.

To Endeavour.... Happy Birthday! To many more!

J.P. / Captain Edward Pearson
