Timeline Of Events   A list of events leading up to the launch of Endeavour NX-06.
Duty Shift Rotation   Endeavour is run on a four shift rotation. Each shift lasts six hours.

Main Bridge   The bridge was the starship equivalent of an operations center or command center. On Starfleet ships, it was generally located near the top and front of a vessel. From here, the commanding officers supervised all ship's operations, ranging from vessel course control to tactical systems.
Captain's Ready Room   The captain's ready room is a personal office reserved for the commanding officer of a starship and is typically accessed from the bridge. Here, the captain can engage in administrative work with all relevant office equipment at hand without interfering with bridge operations. In addition, this room is usually the preferred place where the captain can hold private discussions and/or receive classified communications.
Situation Room   The situation room is a small section located at the rear of the bridge. Here, senior officers can hold discussions on subjects such as the progress of a mission. The situation room is marked by several computer displays and stations (including the environmental controls) and a small table with swing-out chairs built into its structure. The room was also accessible through a doorway located on the port bulkhead.
Gymnasium and Recreational Facilities   A gymnasium is an area of a starship which is dedicated to physical fitness and exercise.
Main Engineering   Engineering's primary purpose is to be the central point for control of all engineering systems aboard a starship, especially those related to propulsion and power generation. The matter/antimatter reaction chamber (also known as the warp core) is located in engineering. Engineering can also be used as a command and control center, overriding primary centers such as the bridge or auxiliary control.
Transporter   NX-Class starships were the first vessels in Starfleet to make use of the transporter. While people are rarely transported (unless in emergencies), the transporter is mostly used to efficiently transport cargo and supplies.
Sickbay   Sickbay is the main medical centre aboard Starfleet ships. It is presided over by the chief medical officer (CMO), a senior staff member. The CMO is supported by various doctors and nurses. The area is also used for certain analyses of new lifeforms a starship might encounter, and for developing treatments for unknown diseases or illnesses.
Launch Bay   In the NX-class starship, the launch bay opens from the ventral hull and is capable of holding two shuttlepods. These shuttlepods both enter and exit through two sliding doors, which are operated from a control station on the upper gantry level; the launch bay is incapable of maintaining atmospheric pressure during launch, requiring repressurization after every launch. The launch bay is equipped with a telescoping arm to guide craft through the bay doors. The ship's grappler is also housed on the ceiling of this bay. The Enterprise NX-01 has at least two launch bays.
Decon Chamber   Decon is used for decontaminating crewmembers after exposure to the potentially dangerous environmental conditions, lifeforms, materials, airborne bodies, or other contaminants found in alien environments such as planets or spacecraft. Aboard NX-class ships, decon is located adjacent to the launch bay and is not much larger than a turbolift, featuring two benches and a window looking out into a corridor. Utilizing a combination of ultraviolet radiation and various topical skin gels to achieve its effect, the chamber offers very little privacy, requiring officers to disrobe and remain in the cramped chamber for sometimes extended periods.
Mess Hall   A mess hall is a place on Starfleet starships where one can relax and enjoy a meal or a quick snack in a social setting. It is also the place where officials, such as ambassadors of other worlds, are entertained. Gatherings are also held there.
Captain's Mess   The NX-class has a captain's dining room just off of the ship's mess hall. It is served by the ship's chef.
Captain's Quarters   The captain's quarters, located on E Deck, are similar to the accommodations of senior officers, yet were slightly larger, providing a large desk area and work terminal.
Armory   The armory, weapons room, or weapons bay of a starship or other facility is a secured location where weapons and other offensive or defensive devices are stored securely to prevent unauthorized personnel from gaining access. A starship usually has only one armory. On some vessels, armories hold photon torpedoes and other ship-based weapons.
Brig   A brig is a type of prison on board a starship, space station or planetary facility. These are heavily-guarded rooms that employ either gates or force fields to keep those incarcerated segregated from the general population of the vessel. These areas are used to contain criminals, fugitives, and others who pose a security risk and must be detained. They are also used as a means of punishment within the Starfleet ranks.
Senior Officers Quarters   Officers' quarters are larger, containing a moderately-sized bed, a desk, several lockers, and various built-in shelves for further storage.
Crew Quarters   Enlisted crew share quarters aboard NX-class vessels. Shared quarters are small and very cramped, containing a set of bunk beds, a small desk, and two storage lockers.
